Day 5 - 30th of January 2009

I am a little late posting this, because we had internet issues last night, but I'm here now to post my day 5 photo :)

I LOVE this photo, and I LOVE this child. She is so random.. does the silliest, funniest things. Last night at dinner, she insisted on wearing a pair of her (CLEAN!!) underpants on her head while she ate dinner. So I let her :)

Day 4 - 29th of January 2009

Todays photo has a great deal of meaning for me today. A sad event happened here in Australia where a father threw his 4 year old daughter off a 58 metre (190ft) bridge in my hometown of Melbourne. She survived the fall, but sadly passed away 4 hours later. It devistated me, having a 4 year old daughter myself. I cried for that poor little girl. And it made me realise, once and for all, to not sweat the little things that my kids do. Enjoy them each and every moment. Because you just never know.. you just don't. RIP Darcey Freeman.. we never met, but you are in my heart little angel.
This photo is of my two youngest enjoying an impromptu "indoor" picnic that my 4yo daughter set up. They are dining on strawberries and tubs of yoghurt, with poppers to wash it down. I love my kids.

Day 3 - 28th of January 2009

Todays photo is one I took while waiting for my oldest to finish work. Hungry Jack's is the Aussie version of Burger King.. home of the whopper :D She loves it, and gets great hours!

Day 2 - 27th of January 2009

Ok, so originally I was going to post a photo of my dinner tonight.. to capture the potato salad I made. It's a recipe that my mum has made since ... well... forever! And I took the photo. And I was going to upload it, when commotion happened here. Let's just say that I knew I had to take Hayden to the hairdressers soon for a haircut.. little did I know that his 4yo sister decided to become the hairdresser. Yikes. So I tidied it up as best as I could.. I don't think I did too bad a job of it!
